So you want to by nosey and find out who "madcow" actually is. Well, to satisfy the curious, I am Chris Dickson - and just you make sure you spell my second name right (there is NO X) :/.
I'm originally from the Wirral (North West of England, between Liverpool and North Wales).

I spent a good while living in Bath, in the west of England, working for a small engineering firm for four years designing, developing, building and commissioning bespoke software and industrial automation solutions, focussing mostly on telemetry and data logging.

I now live in Surrey and work for a global IT services consultancy where I design and develop enterprise-class client/server systems on Microsoft platforms using a mix of old and new technology stacks as required.
